Set among orchards and vineyards, Residence Lichtenberg enjoys a very peaceful location in Algund, just outside Merano. Its eight light-filled holiday apartments have their own outdoor spaces, offering the freedom of an independent stay and beautiful views of Merano and the Adige Valley.

The residence is directly beside the Algund Waalweg walking trail and around ten minutes on foot from the village centre. Start a walk from your doorstep, head into the surrounding mountains or take the Citybus to Merano: the bus stops right outside.

Eight apartments with individual features

Choose from La Terrazza, Orchidee, Nerine, Belvita, Garden, Panorama, Ortler and Ifinger. Ranging from 35 to 49 m², they have separate living and sleeping areas, equipped kitchens, Wi-Fi and a balcony or terrace. Garden also has a separate entrance, a south-facing terrace and a private garden.

The five newer apartments – La Terrazza, Orchidee, Nerine, Belvita and Garden – feature underfloor heating, electric roller shutters, triple-glazed windows, walk-in showers, a ceramic hob and a microwave. See the apartment overview for floor areas, sleeping arrangements and individual features.

Garden, outdoor pool and time to unwind

The residence garden offers a sunbathing lawn and table tennis at no extra charge; a small fee applies to use of the gas barbecue. Guests can also use the outdoor pool and sunbathing area at the neighbouring residence, about one minute away on foot. Pool access is included; the pool is open from 1 April to 15 October.

Easy days without the car

Free on-site parking and lockable bicycle storage make it convenient to arrive with your own transport. All staying guests can use the electric-vehicle charging point without booking in advance; charging is subject to a fee. The Citybus stops outside and is free with the Südtirol Guest Pass, which is included with your stay all year round.
